While we’re interested in proposals related to media ecology in any way, this year’s theme focuses on the rapid developments in AI media, exploring the balance between its possibilities, the ethical considerations it necessitates, and the challenges it poses. The convention seeks to unpack the myriad ways in which AI technologies intersect with the media ecology — the dynamic interplay between media environments and human experience.

Proposals due February 1, 2025.
